"After the 5-6 cycles of chemotherapy there are about 100 cancer cells left and you hope that they just die from boredom since they have no one to play with anymore." -One of our professors

  1. hey kryss, i was watching this documentary, i forgot the exact name, but it might be 'the future of food.' basically the documentary said that people in general develop illnesses or diseases because theyre lacking essential vitamins/minerals, and thats why it makes sense to treat people with vitamins/minerals as opposed to using antibiotics. for instance people who suffer from depression can benefit from taking niacin. what i found reaaally interesting was how vitamin C can be used as a treatment against cancer. i guess vitamin c in really, really high doses can destroy cancerous cells - while not harming other 'good' cells, in addition to having little to no side effects! i think its called vitamin therapy or something like that, but its illegal in the US... that in the US theres only 3 legal ways to treat cancer? chemotherapy, surgery, and i forget the 3rd (it might be radiation but im not sure if thats the same as chemo), and basically a Doctor cannot treat a cancer patient by prescribing vitamins/minerals, because its illegal?

sorry for my rant but i was just wondering if youve come across this or have any thoughts?
